Job Title: Lifeguard
Job Description: Under direct or general supervision, performs a wide variety of aquatics program duties
to include water rescue; monitors pool and deck safety; explains and enforces facility/pool
rules; provides first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); remains alert in large
groups, including children, both visually and audibly to insure safety, facility rules, incident
prevention, and health standards; provides information to the public; sets up and removes
lifeguard equipment; assists with facility maintenance tasks and performs related work as
required.
